Built a demand forecasting pipeline for 25,130 industrial materials using 27 features from a 1.5-million-row monthly panel. Achieved MASE below 1.0 and identified 100% of demand spikes on the test set. Designed a two-stage binary-classifier and Tweedie-loss LightGBM regressor approach for zero-inflated demand, with quantile regression across five sparsity groups. Fixed time-series train/test data leakage and an early-stopping configuration issue. Built an automated Individuals & Moving Range control-chart analysis system with control-limit, trend, oscillation, and mean-shift detection rules, returning the responsible data-point index and per-rule and overall conformance results.
