Most apps make users work harder than they should. Confusing flows. Cluttered screens. Interfaces designed around business processes instead of human needs. That's the problem I enjoy solving. My perspective changed while designing the NHRC mobile app — a platform that helps Indian citizens file human rights complaints. Many users weren't tech-savvy, and some were navigating stressful situations. Every confusing interaction wasn't just bad UX; it could prevent someone from getting help. That experience reinforced a principle I carry into every project: great design isn't about making screens look good. It's about making people's lives easier. Over the last 2 years, I've worked across government, enterprise, and consumer products: • Designed the NHRC mobile app for a national government platform • Improved user retention by 10% on the NeetBhaiya app through usability-focused redesigns • Built decision-support dashboards for Hero Group by simplifying complex information architecture • Led a team of 4 designers while delivering web and mobile products end-to-end With a background in Computer Science and experience collaborating closely with developers, I enjoy bridging user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to create products people genuinely enjoy using.
