Built a real-time healthcare referral system coordinating three distributed modules using AI triage and geospatial intelligence to route patients based on proximity, specialist availability, and live resource capacity. Designed a Redis-backed WebSockets, Pub/Sub, and event-driven backend with less than 50ms real-time event latency. Implemented MongoDB 2dsphere geospatial indexing, JWT/OAuth, rate limiting, and caching, achieving less than 200ms API response time for hospital data queries. Used Sentry, Winston logging, graceful shutdown, and Dockerized deployment for reliability.
