A Novel Adaptive Heuristic for Long-Horizon Path Planning
Academic research project co-authoring a comparative study of BFS, DFS, A*, and Greedy search algorithms and proposing Focused A*, a heuristic that dynamically adjusts weight based on goal proximity and terrain penalties. Demonstrated the lowest path cost and cost-per-step on a complex 50x50 grid with static and dynamic obstacles.

Built and deployed a Streamlit cycle rental application with dual user roles, image uploads, 30-minute slot-based bookings, university email authentication, real-time availability validation, custom CSS, conflict-free booking logic, Base64 image processing, and unique booking IDs.
