As a core developer at NextPayments, I’ve been instrumental in building a crypto-based UPI payment gateway from the ground up — blending blockchain with real-time payments infrastructure. My responsibilities include: Architecting and developing the payment gateway backend using Go (Golang), FastAPI, and Redis for ultra-low latency performance. Integrating smart contract systems on Ethereum and Polygon using Solidity for secure, transparent, and decentralized settlements. Designing and deploying cloud-native infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for scalability and high availability. Implementing high-grade security protocols such as tokenized encryption, rate-limiting, fraud detection, and AML/KYC flows to ensure compliance and trust. Creating developer-friendly APIs and SDKs for third-party integration with e-commerce platforms, apps, and international remittance partners. Building real-time analytics and dashboards using Grafana and Elasticsearch to monitor transaction flows, system health, and user behavior. Leading cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and compliance teams to align architecture with regulatory and user needs. Driving innovation by enabling fast cross-border payments, fiat-to-crypto rails, and utility bill payments using DeFi principles.

As a developer at NextGoTravels, I contributed to building a next-gen travel booking and logistics platform designed to make travel cheaper, faster, and smarter for everyone. My core contributions included: Engineering a lightweight and high-performance booking system using MERN/MEAN stack and Next.js, optimized for mobile and web experiences. Integrating APIs for flights, trains, hotels, buses, and local experiences, allowing users to compare, book, and manage multi-modal travel in one place. Building dynamic pricing and smart deals engine using Golang and Redis to offer the cheapest possible travel options in real time, beating traditional platforms. Implementing location-aware search, route planning, and itinerary generation using Mapbox and Google APIs for hyper-personalized travel experiences. Designing secure payment infrastructure using NextPayments, enabling users to pay via UPI, cards, or crypto, with near-zero transaction delays. Deploying cloud infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to scale travel operations without compromising performance. Creating visual dashboards and analytics tools for admins and vendors to track bookings, revenues, user patterns, and pricing trends using Grafana and Elasticsearch. Reducing operational overhead by automating ticketing, invoicing, and customer communication via chatbots and smart notifications.
