A Brief Review on The Emergence of Private Space Companies: Impact on Global Space Exploration

SpaceX and Blue Origin, both are commercial space enterprises, have moved the needle on these challenges by making dramatic technological strides forward in a trans-formative industry with high entry costs (not to mention traditionally unfriendly margins) over much needed partnerships with government agencies like NASA that effectively place private spacecraft alongside more established public sector contractors throughout every phase of development. They have driven economic growth and opened the door to more capable human spaceflight. Their impact has been far-reaching despite the challenges they face from regulatory hurdles, as well as safety concerns. This shift from a government-led to commercially-led approach in space has resulted in increased innovation and new players, disrupting the industry. With the rise of these companies, space is now seeing a keystone shift in global efforts and opening new doors for what can be accomplished through exploration beyond earth.
