SHG Connect
SHG Connect is a web application designed to digitize and empower Self-Help Groups (SHGs), particularly those led by women in rural communities. SHGs traditionally rely on paper registers for attendance, savings, loans, and meeting notes — a system that is fragile, error-prone, and opaque. This project brings SHGs into the digital age with real-time updates, secure onboarding, and tools for leaders to manage group activities effectively. It was inspired by real field experiences and built with the goal of amplifying grassroots impact through accessible tech. Key Features: ✅ Total Transparency: Members can view savings and loan status from anywhere. ✅ Streamlined Leadership: Leaders can manage meetings, records, and transactions directly from their phones. ✅ Secure Onboarding: Super Admin sets up the ecosystem; leaders register with password protection. ✅ Oversight Tools: Block Officers can track SHG analytics via a dedicated dashboard.
