What you will own

Design and ship end-to-end product capabilities across Next.js, Node.js services, MongoDB, queues, and AI integrations.
Own technical decisions, implementation, rollout, observability, and follow-through for meaningful product areas.
Build and evaluate AI-assisted workflows with clear data boundaries, deterministic validation, and measurable quality.
Improve system reliability, performance, developer velocity, and the quality of the codebase as the product scales.
Review work, raise the engineering bar, and help interns and less-experienced contributors become effective quickly.
Talk directly about user and business outcomes, then make pragmatic engineering trade-offs to reach them.

You have taken a feature from a vague brief through rollout, measurement, and iteration.
You know when to simplify architecture and when reliability requires more rigor.
You communicate risks early, disagree constructively, and remain accountable after release.

What we need from you

A track record of shipping and maintaining production software with meaningful ownership.
Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and web fundamentals, plus solid backend, database, and API design judgment.
Experience debugging distributed or asynchronous systems and making safe production changes.
Practical experience with LLM or AI-powered features, or the depth to learn the domain quickly.
The judgment to balance speed with correctness, privacy, security, and long-term maintainability.
